CSM LODGING ACQUIRES MILWAUKEE MARRIOTT WEST

MINNEAPOLIS – August 3, 2005 – CSM Lodging announced today that it has purchased the Milwaukee Marriott West, the company’s second full-service Marriott hotel. This acquisition, the company’s sixth in the past year, brings the total number of hotels owned and operated by CSM Lodging to 38 nationwide. Last month, CSM Lodging unveiled its first full-service hotel, the Marriott Minneapolis West, a former Holiday Inn that the company renovated from top to bottom.

“We are thrilled to have entered the full-service hotel arena with two beautiful properties, both located in strong markets where we already have a presence,” said Robin Kirk, president of CSM Lodging. “As a company, we have spent a great deal of time and resources developing the infrastructure necessary to support the addition of full-service properties to our portfolio.”

CSM Lodging also owns the Country Inn & Suites — Milwaukee West and the TownePlace Suites by Marriott — Milwaukee/Brookfield, both located in nearby Brookfield, Wisc. According to Kirk, by having several properties in one market, CSM will capitalize on local market knowledge as well as operating efficiencies.

The Milwaukee Marriott West is located off I-94 at Highway F, in Waukesha, Wisc., just 15 miles west of downtown Milwaukee. It has 238 rooms well appointed for both business and leisure travelers. All guest rooms are equipped with “The Room That Works,” featuring a two-line telephone with voice mail and data port, large well-lit work desk and executive chair, plus individual climate controls, remote-controlled TV with cable and in-room movies. The hotel has all the amenities expected from a first class facility, including the Bistro 1600 restaurant and lounge, indoor pool, fitness room, gift shop and business center.
