More Oak Park Heights Retail
CSM Corp. has broken ground on it’s latest development, a 200,000 square foot shopping center anchored by a Lowe’s home improvement store in Oak Park Heights.
Oak Park Commons will sit on a 22 acre site at Hwy. 36 and Oakgreen Avenue that is the last undeveloped parcel in the city along Hwy. 36. Besides Lowe’s the center will have space for smaller retailers, restaurants and a bank.
At one time the Minnesota Department of Transportation had planned to build an interchange on the site to connect Hwy. 36 to the planned St. Croix River Bridge. Minneapolis based CSM said construction of Oak Park Commons should be complete this year.
