MINNEAPOLIS BASED CSM CORPORATION ANNOUNCES THE ACQUISITION OF THE RESIDENCE INN MINNEAPOLIS – EDEN PRAIRIE
Minneapolis, MN – CSM Lodging, announced today the acquisition of the Residence Inn Minneapolis – Eden Prairie, making it the 27th Marriott hotel owned and operated by Minneapolis based CSM Lodging, under a franchise agreement with Marriott International, Inc.
The 126 room Residence Inn Minneapolis – Eden Prairie is located at 7780 Flying Cloud Drive in Eden Prairie, MN and is situated on the Northeast side of Interstate 494 and Highway 212. This residential-style hotel is designed primarily for extended-stay business travelers. The property features studio suites and penthouse suites. Each suite has a fully equipped kitchen with refrigerator, stove, microwave, dishwasher and coffee maker along with a separate living room area and a fireplace in select rooms. The Eden Prairie Residence Inn will compliment the two existing CSM hotels in that market.

We anticipate acquiring several hotels this year, not only in our base here in Minneapolis but in other markets, as well. Our plan is to completely renovate the suites and public space and update the technology to meet the needs of the current business traveler”, said Robin Kirk, President of CSM Lodging. “This includes high-speed Internet access in every suite as well as a state-of-the-art business center.”
